Government of Himachal Pradesh has launched HGSY that is Himachal Grihini Suvidha Yojana. PDF Application Form is available here along with the submission process. The main purpose of Himachal Grihini Suvidha Yojana is to provide LPG gas connections to poor households. The primary objective of this yojana is to make sure all the households has LPG domestic gas connection.  HGSY is applicable to all those families who could not get benefits of PMUY that is the central government scheme Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana.

Himachal Grihini Suvidha Yojana (HGSY) is the scheme in which LPG gas connections will be given to the poor families of HP. HGSY is implemented by the Department of Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs of the Himachal Pradesh state. Under this scheme, the government will provide LPG Gas facility to all the families for two years. Apart from this, the Government will also provide a security deposit to the LPG connections and gas stove to the families who are not involved in the PMUY. The government has sanctioned 12 crores for this scheme’s budget.

• Applicant should be a resident of the state Himachal pradesh.
• It is applicable for poor families.
• Those poor families who could not get benefits of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana are eligible.

• Poor families will get free gas stove along with LPG connection.
• Himachal Government will pay security deposit for the gas connection.
• LPG gas connections will be provided to all the poor families for two years.

• After Downloading the PDF Form take a print out.
• Fill up the form with the required and mandatory fields.

• Paste the applicant’s passport size photograph
• Attach copy of any one of the document listed as the proof of Address
• Attach copy of any one of the document listed as the proof of Identification
• Submit the completely filled application form to the nearest LPG dealer.
