UP Mukhyamantri Jan Arogya Yojana in the year 2019 was launched by Yogi Adityanath. The main objective of UP Mukhyamantri Jan Arogya Yojana is to provide free medical treatment of up to Rs.5 lakh to poor people. The Treatment can be done from any government or private hospitals. Already UP Ayushman Bharat is covering some people rest of people will be covered under UP Mukhyamantri Jan Arogya Yojana. According to the officals report around 5.6 million poor people left out of the flagship Ayushman Bharat.
UP Mukhyamantri Jan Arogya Yojana 2019 is a new healthcare scheme for citizen of Uttar Pradesh. It is a sub part of the Central Government Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY). UP Mukhya Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana will also provide free medical facilities to poor families who are not covered under Modicare. Through this Scheme around a million households or 5.6 million beneficiaries who are deprived of Ayushman Bharat which is a National Health Protection Scheme (NHPS). The government of Uttar Padesh has allocated Rs. 111 crore from the Budget 2019-2020 for UP Mukhya Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana.The main motive of this scheme is to provide free medical cover of up to Rs.5 lakh per family per annum.
Eligibility for UP Mukhyamantri Jan Arogya Yojana
- The Applicant should be a Resident of the State Uttar Pradesh.
- Applicant should not be a beneficiary of Ayushman Bharat or PMJAY.
- No age specification has been highlighted in the scheme. People falling in young as well as senior age can get the benefits of this scheme.
- There should have prescribed income criteria according to the notification.
